 | User defined properties on Outlook items are now accessible. Every Outlook item object has a getUserProperties() method returning a UserPropertiesCollection object. |
| | Access to the address book content is now available. The method Outlook.getAddressLists() returns a list containing AddressList and AddressEntry objects. |
| | Distribution lists are supported. The OutlookDistributionList class handles a distribution list. |
| | Outlook automation and user interface related tasks can be performed with the library. |
| | A lot of new methods and properties were added. Check the JavaDoc for the full listing of all methods available. |
Fundamental changes occurred in the new Java Outlook Connector version 2.0.0. If you are upgrading from a previous version, please be aware of the following modifications in the library:
| | Dates and times are automatically handled based on the system time zone settings. This simplifies time handling. In previous versions time values were returned in GMT regardless of the time zone settings. |
| | The library is now split in two JAR files and one DLL file. You need to add to your CLASSPATH both JAR files. Look at the installation instructions for more details. |
| | Some classes were moved to different packages. The ComponentObjectModelException is now in the com.moyosoft.connector.com package and is a runtime exception. |
| | Few methods were renamed, replaced and/or deprecated. |
